Photos taken with a Kodak 210+ digital camera and played about with in Corel Photopaint 6.

Top speed about 110mph on a very good day.

More happy cruising at about 75; and 5500rpm.

Red line is at 7500rpm but can be revved to about 8500 if needed.

Red light at top is oil pressure warning,

Yellow in middle is for indicators,

Blue on the left for high beam and

Green on the right tells you the lights are on.

The best bit.

478 cc, 72 degree air cooled V-Twin, 6 speed gearbox.

The shiny cover at the base of the V hides the electronic ignition pickups, the cable drives the tacho, the other cable is for the dry clutch. The camshaft is also behind this cover, driven by a toothed belt from the end of the crankshaft, it operates two pushrods in each cylinder. The gear change is in the correct position, on the right.

Left hand kickstart means I have to stand next to the bike and use my right leg to start it. Many owners sit on the bike and use the left leg.

Very small and narrow from the front.

The large black engine case on the left as viewed was designed to accomodate the Heath Robinson designed electric starter. Many owners fit early 3 1/2 side covers after this ridiculous bit of machinery has been thrown away.

Fly screen is from M&P and originally intended for the Kawasaki Zephyr. Mini indicators flash far too quickly.

Ground clearance and handling are amazing. The only time anything touches down is when you fall off. Even then the engine will probably be untouched.

Rear shocks are Hagons which replace the original Marzocchis.

In my opinion one of the prettiest motorcycles ever made, from any angle.
